Vision
To be a globally renowned business innovation and incubation Centre.

Mission
To realize the country’s dreams of training job creators rather than job seekers in an effort to reduce poverty within the University fraternity and its environs.

Goal
To inspire and mentor Kenyatta University students, staff and other Kenyans to be wealth and employment creators.

Objectives

  • To blend academic research and training with entrepreneurship.
  • To predispose Kenyatta University’s staff, students and others towards being employment and wealth creators.
  • To promote Public-Private-Partnerships (PPPs) amongst the University, business community and other stakeholders.
  • To provide a model business and innovation incubator replicable locally and internationally.

About Us
Chandaria Business Innovation and Incubation Centre which was launched in July 2011,to help incline students’ mindset towards job creation was initially located on the 2nd Floor of the new Business and Student's Centre in Kenyatta University but awaiting relocation in April 2013 to the Chandaria BIIC Plaza located near the main gate of Kenyatta University. In line with Kenya Vision 2030, it is focused on supporting up to 100 students' innovations/entrepreneurship ideas per year. It aims to blend academic research with entrepreneurship training, predispose Kenyatta University students’ population and Kenyans in general towards being job creators, promote Public Private Partnerships, and provide a business incubator that can be replicated at national and international levels.
