Chandaria BIIC relies on partners and well wishers to support innovations. It has established a donors tree with Bronze, Silver and Golden leaves. Donors who donate US$ 288,000 (Kshs. 25,000,000) and above have their name engraved on the Golden leaf, whereas those who donate US$ 58,000 (Kshs. 5,000,000) to US$ 288,000 (Kshs. 24,999,999) and US$ 6000 (Kshs. 500,000) to US$ 58,000 (Kshs. 4,999,999) get their names engraved on Silver and Bronze leaves respectively.
In the long run, operations at Chandaria BIIC will mainly be financed from equity share that Kenyatta University owns in every successful venture that graduates from the incubation centre(> or = 20%). Resources will also be raised from partnership fees, which will range between US$ 15,000 to 100,000. This will mainly be from corporations that are mainly interested in innovative ideas.
