Dr. Ezekiel Brown Alembi

Until his untimely death, Dr. Ezekiel B. Alembi was a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Literature and the Director, Kenyatta University Radio Services. He was a member of the Board of Directors, Equity Bank. He was also the National Chairman, Kenya Schools and Colleges Drama Festival. In her message of condolence to the family, the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Olive M. Mugenda termed Dr. Alembi as a man who was a good supporter of her administration, humble, trustworthy and friendly. Dr. Alembi will be missed by the Literature fraternity in Kenya and even East Africa for he had a passion in writing especially interesting children's books and was loved and treasured by his students.

Members of the University Community are cordially invited to a fundraising in aid of the Late Dr. Ezekiel Alembi's Children Education Fund on Tuesday 26th January 2010 at the PCEA St. Andrews Church, Hall One at 5.00 p.m.
He will be buried on 30th January at his home in Ebwiranyi, Emuhaya in Vihiga District.
