INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON FOREIGN LANGUAGES AND LITERATURE : CALL FOR PAPERS

Due to the impact of globalization, the learning and the use of multiple foreign languages and literature continue to occupy a pride of place in many countries and regions in the world. Many countries in Africa, for example, teach foreign languages such as Portuguese, Spanish, German,Chinese, Korean, Japanese and English. Thus, there is much interaction between such foreign languages and African languages. Being proficient in foreign languages is beneficial to individuals and to the countries that teach them. Further, a lot of research continues to be done on the best methods of teaching, learning and assessing foreign languages, particularly with the emergence of ICT, and there is substantial documentation to this effect. The proposed international conference purposes to bring together scholars, researchers, educationists, policy makers and other professionals in the field of foreign languages and literature in Africa and beyond to discuss various issues under the theme and sub-themes listed below:       Download the article in pdf
