KENET Travel Grants

KENET shall give travel grants to faculty or graduate students in the KENET Special Interest Group academic areas, namely, engineering (all areas), computer science / information systems, medicine, agriculture and education (or educational technology). Only conferences whose proceedings indexed in Elesevier's Scopus or Web of Science databases shall be eligible (these are the databases used in Webometrics or Times Higher Education University ankings). Travel grants have been increased to 15($30,000)  in 2016 alone.(About four graduate students have already been sponsored this year).

Call for Applications
Applications for research/education mini-grants of $10,000 are invited by March 31, 2016 (see http://raspberry.kenet.or.ke for 2014 university mini-grants). Again,a similar online application form shall be used . KENET  continues to look for external grants that shall support even 10 or 20 collaborative research mini-grants.

Only applications submitted through the online application form shall be processed. 2 months advance notice is needed. Applications must be supported by supervisors or heads of department with evidence that the university was unable to fund applications on account of limited university or departmental research budgets.

FINAL EXAMINATION TIMETABLE FOR 2nd SEMESTER ,ACADEMIC YEAR 2015/2016 REGULAR PROGRAMMES(MAIN CAMPUS ONLY)

The Examination are scheduled to take place from 29th March 2016 to 11th April 2016.Students are adviced to check their units carefully and follow the date,time and the grouping strictly given in this timetable.

  3. All directors of Satellite campuses corporate emails

NB:The University Common Units(UCU`S) are scheduled to be examined on 7th & 8th April 2016 for all undergraduate students.

FINAL KENYATTA UNIVERSITY DIGITAL SCHOOL SIT IN CATs TIMETABLE FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

Students with clashing units should report to the coordinator in charge of examinations (office no. 2 digital school) at least one hour before the time scheduled for the papers.
