 Kenyatta University Chancellor Dr. Benson Wairegi signs the condolence book during a memorial service at the University's amphitheatre to honor two scholars who perished in the Ethiopian airlines crash. Mourners pay tribute to Prof. Agnes Gathumbi who was a Director of teacher professional development and teaching practicum at Kenyatta University during a memorial service at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Thome yesterday. She perished after the Ethiopian airlines flight ET302 crashed en route to Nairobi. Prof. Gathumbi, an accomplished researcher, was eulogised as a passionate scholar who was committed to raising teaching standards in Kenya and the rock of her family.
