Kenyatta University upholds and endeavors to promote National Values as outlined in Article 10 of the Constitution in all its operations and activities; and also create awareness of these values among its students, staff and other stakeholders. Among the key activities already undertaken in order to mainstream National Values within the University include:
- The Vice-Chancellor appointed a National Values Committee whose key mandate is to create awareness and spearhead mainstreaming of National Values in the University
- The National Values Committee conducted a nomination exercise to identify and recognize National Values Champions within the University as per the guidelines given by the Directorate of National Cohesion and Values in the Executive Office of the President
- The National Values Committee in partnership with the Art department has also come up with Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials in form of artistic impressions as shown below to enhance student, staff and stakeholders awareness of National Values.
