Entrepreneurship is a key element for the growth of small and medium enterprises (United Nations, 2006). It is widely acknowledged that an active Small and Medium Enterprises
(SMEs) sector will drive economies of both developed and less developed countries in this century and beyond. This is even more pertinent as economic renewal and growth are increasingly driven by enterprise, technology and creativity. The entrepreneur and business acceleration course is about developing and transforming the entrepreneur through transformative leadership skills and knowledge. The purpose it to build the capacities needed for entrepreneurs to navigate businesses successfully through the different growth stages as they break through the multiplicity of opportunities and accompanying challenges or barriers.
