How To Throw A Movie Night In Your Hostel Room?

Life in your early twenties is not always glamorous, and the same can be said for your living situation. Modern sitcoms like How I Met Your Mother, New Girl, and Big Bang Theory only perpetuate unrealistic expectations—few can afford a 3,000 square-foot brick loft, let alone a tiny apartment that can barely fit your bed.

I know I’m not alone when I admit that in the early stages of my adult life I struggled to stretch my dismal monthly income to afford that impressive “TV worthy” living space. But it didn’t take long before I learned that it wasn’t worth having to give up my creature comforts and basic necessities like food (and coffee) to pay my apartment’s monthly rent.

While scaling back on housing expenses may seem l...

Alumni Advice: Life Tips For University Freshers

Campus

Well being a proud alumnus (Class of 2011) kindly allow me to give my 2 cents.

Tip 1: Focus on your studies. There is a reason why it is called CGPA (Cummulative Grade Points Average) what you get in the first semester determines what you get in the last.

Tip 2: Budget your finances as this will help you track all your expenses. Buy only what you need and not what you want or what your friends think you should buy. (Live within your means)

Tip 3: Eat healthy and exercise. there is a   always prepared a decent meal.

Tip 4: Make a lot of friends as you can, at this stage they are among the last friends you will have but don’t let them negatively influence you. Study with the “bookworms” and go out with the party people when you can afford to but remember everything in moderation.

Slay Campusers: The CamelToe Is Trending

Campus

There has been a lot of talk recently about nipples. Namely, from my boss.  We’re taking every opportunity that we can to go braless and nip in full force. Nipple piercings have become just as common as your basic cartilage piercing. Nipping it has given women the chance to show off a little of what we’ve got, without going overboard. It’s the bulge of the chest. But as a feminist, I believe that we should also be able to rock a downstairs look just like our male counterparts. That is why I propose that we all start rocking our cameltoes as ASAP as possible.

If we’ve learned anything from the recent nipple trend, it’s that subtlety is sexy. You don’t have to show even a square inch of skin to pull off the look. It’s incredibly easy. Step 1, don’t wear a bra. Step 2, be hot...

I have been at University and now going in my 3rd year. I can perfectly understand how weekends can get so boring more especially for freshers and people who don’t have so many friends. Although most people spend their weekends clubbing, having drink up…doing small private parties,going to the beach sometimes or playing video games…not everyone can afford to live that kind of life. Here I will list the cheapest way to go about your weekend at university;

  1. Friday Night Live (FNL) a, here you go to watch basketball games, sometimes their free sometimes you only pay 1k entrance and if your lucky you could get hooked cause their also  girls.

10 Random Things Every University Fresher Needs To Know

Campus

1. You don’t need to ask to go to the toilets. You will seriously be laughed at by everybody in the lecture room if you ask.

2. It’s a bitch to bring up a low GPA from your first few semesters. Start strong and you won’t constantly be struggling to bring it up.

3. Meet people. It is so simple, especially in the first few days of classes. Something as simple as talking to the person right beside you, asking where they are from etc. Great way to meet chicks as well.

4. If you’re going into engineering, pay fucking attention in math classes. Learn EVERYTHING in them. It will bite you in your ass if you don’t, and it bites hard.

Common University Boyfriend Offenses and Their Punishments

Campus

Much like a pet or a child, training a boyfriend is hard. You have to be firm yet fair, rewarding yet not spoiling. And it can be hard to determine the right action when he messes up. Sure, you want to shout and scream and bring up that time he accidentally called you by your sister’s name in bed, but that’s not always the best move. So here are the most common boyfriend offenses and their fair punishments. I’m not saying all of them are the smartest moves, but I am saying that they’ll make you feel a hell of a lot better. 1. Offense: His Existence Is Annoying You

To be honest, he didn’t really do anything wrong. He’s just being his normal self, but for some reason, it’s just really pissing you off. The way he’s breathing. His chewing. His fucking video games...

25 Books Every University Lady Should Read Before 25

Campus

You know that John Waters quote “if you go home with someone and they don’t have books, don’t fuck ’em”? It’s probably the wisest advice you will ever hear. If there’s one thing that you absolutely should judge people on, it’s the books they read. And there’s no better time to fine-tune that judgement than in your twenties.

It’s pretty much the best time to focus on expanding your mind, on being the best version of yourself that you can be, and reading seminal works of fiction from great women which make you feel like a better-rounded woman. Embrace it.

1. The Yellow Wallpaper – Charlotte Perkins Gilman

The narrator of this book has an awful husband called John, who decides to confine her to an attic room in their house and keep her deliberately understimulated ...
