About KUSA

KUSA is an organisation that has existed for the past 13 years, representing student needs and views in the best possible way. However during Kenya's struggle for multipartism (2nd liberation) in the 90's all student organisations were banned thus leading to mass protest from student that eventually led to collapse of all unions untill recently in the year 2004 that students decided to actively take part in matters affecting them. Since that year KUSA has had four (4) congress leadership.

General Information

KUSA (Kenyatta University Student Association) exists to represent all students and one automatically becomes a member once you join the University. it serves the student community in pursuit of academic and social welfare, peace, prosperity and integrity.

We also ensure that all our members receive support with any financial or personal problems that they may have, through our Student Advice Centre as well as providing a range of other services.

It is our Students' Union that will ensure that you enjoy your stay in Kenyatta University as a student.

The Association is run by an Executive body, made up of elected students through a democratic election. Members views are discussed and decisions are passed unanimously.
