Student Advice Service
KU has a number of advice services ranging from the student peer counsellors, professional university counsellors and club counsellors. Should you have an issue you want to discuss just visit the Office of the Dean or KUSA and you will be allocated a counsellor soonest possible.
Student Healthcare
All students on campus are entitiled to free healthcare at the university health unit and dispensaries. for those with special cases that need attention (e.g. serious cases like surgery) please enquire for a refferal at the health unit.

KU Bus Safety and Tuk Tuks
Students are adviced to avoid dangerous behaviour when boarding the school bus to Ruiru campus. A security officer is attached to each bus you are boarding for your safety. ensure you follow instructions. Tuk Tuks are vailable around campus strictly for special needs students.
Welfare Issues
If you think your welfare is not being addressed approriately please visit the DSA and KUSA to better understand your situation.
Sexual Harassment, Sexual Assault and Rape
Cases of rape are hardly reported but sexual harassment hardly goes unnoticed. Immediately report any such case to the Gender & Welfare secretary and the university security personnel.
Eating Disorders
Students eating habits are not restricted by the university. KUSA advices students to be observant when they interact with strangers.

Get Help through KU Peer counselling group. Go to the nearest KU official or Dean of Students office and be given someone to talk to. Get that nagging issue off your chest.
