Position: Senior Lecturer and Associate Dean School of Business
As the Administrative and Academic head of the Department of Business Administration, Dr. Muathe provides guidance on implementation of the department Strategic plan and Annual Work Plans. In addition, he is also the chief examination officer of the department. Dr. Muathe Previously worked as the doctoral and MBA programmes Coordinator in the School of Business.
Dr. Muathe holds an earned PhD in Entrepreneurship and Management (Kenyatta University), MBA (Management) (USIU-A) and BEd (A) (Business Studies and Economics) from Kenyatta University, Kenya. He is a Full Member of The Kenya Institute of Management (KIM). In addition Dr. Muathe is the current Chairman Board of Management at Mutwamwaki Mixed day Secondary school. Dr. Muathe has over 11 years experience in teaching, research and Consultancy work in areas of Business management, Business Planning, Micro, Small and Medium enterprises, Project Monitoring and Evaluation, In addition he serves as an Internal and External examiner of MBA Projects, MSc and PhD theses.
