Recent Activities The following members of the Department attended a Workshop on Mainstreaming Gender and GBU in the School of Health Sciences held at North Coast Beach Hotel on 5th – 7th July, 2010.

Dr. Peter Mwaniki delivered a paper entitled Gender Responsive Communication while Mrs. Elizabeth Ambani delivered a paper on Gender and Health
The following are the upcoming events/activities.
- 1st April – commencement of internship for 2006 class.
- April – Application and signing of licensing forms.
- Clinical placements and teaching practice for all BSc Nursing students.
- Assessments for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students.
- 11th April – 26th August: Clinical Placements 3rd semester 2010/2011.
- May 15th – 21st 2011– Review of Curriculum Workshop.
- May 10th – 12th 2011- Development of Masters Curriculum Workshop.
