Entry Requirement
The common regulations for all Masters Degrees in Kenyatta University shall apply.
The following shall be eligible for registration:
i. Holders of either upper second class honours degree in Community Resource
Management, Family & Consumer Sciences, Home Economics or any other related field
of study.
ii. Those with Second Class (Lower Division) may be considered on condition that they
have Grade “C” and above in units relevant to their areas of specialization.

Students shall take a written examination which shall constitute 60% of the total marks in each course, and continuous assessment constituting 40%. The pass mark shall be 50%.

News and Events

35th and 36th Graduation Ceremonies

The School has also realized an increase in the number of graduands of Master of Science candidates. During the 35th and 36th graduation ceremonies, a total of 13 candidates graduated.

35th Graduation Ceremony

The School of Applied Human Sciences graduated three (3) PhD candidates during the 35th Graduation Ceremony held on 20th December, 2013, and another four (4) during the 36th Graduation Ceremony.
