Like all other Schools in Kenyatta University, the School of Law is headed by a dean who is assisted by an associate dean and both report to the divisional heads in the University management and ultimately to the Vice Chancellor. The dean is the academic and administrative head of the School and is charged with the duty of ensuring that all facets of the daily management of the School run smoothly.
The chairpersons of the various academic departments in the School serve directly under the dean and together work harmoniously to fulfil the University’s expectations and those of the direct stakeholders of the legal programme mounted at the School. The dean, associate dean, and chairpersons of departments work in tandem with the various student association leaders and class representatives to enable the successful delivery of the academic programme and other complementary non-academic pursuits. We believe that the channels of communication have to be kept open in order to allow for healthy interactions across the board.
