KUSOL’s multi-national teaching staff consists of about 25 full and part-time lecturers highly specialized in different areas of the law including human rights, electoral law, trade law, intellectual property law, the various branches of both commercial law and international law as well as constitutional law. Many of the teaching staff are regularly consulted by various players in the industry, government, and regional and international organizations in relation to the respective courseunits they teach or are specialized in. The lecturers use a broad range of impressive teaching methods that guarantee high standards of delivery of course content. In addition, the faculty practices an open door policy which plays a key role in creating a vibrant and inclusive community.

The efforts of KUSOL’s in-house teaching staff are complemented by adjunct faculty who are respected legal practitioners that have long standing in the legal field and wish to give their time to a limited extent to teaching and mentoring young lawyers in the making. The teaching staff at the School currently range from PhD and Masters holders who are highly qualified, competent, committed, and friendly. They continue to actively pursue higher academic qualifications even as they serve at the School as teachers, researchers, and mentors. The teaching staff at KUSOL also benefit from the University’s policy of ensuring its teaching staff are well trained in teaching methods and thus undergo relevant trainings from time to time to maintain their teaching and administrative abilities to the highest standards possible.
