Isabella is an Anaesthesiologist, a lecturer at Kenyatta University School of Medicine in Nairobi Kenya, a National Institute of Health (NIH) Global Health Fellow with the University of California Global Health institute (UCGHI, USA). She is trained in Quality improvement in health care, Leadership and Management in Health, and Epidemiology for Global Health.

Isabella completed MBChB degree in 2009 and Master of Medicine in Anaesthesiology and Critical Care from Makerere University in 2014, where she excelled with the best dissertation.

She has also won several awards, the 2016 Media Award from a USA based Society of Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology, the 2014 National Institutes of Health award as a Post Doctoral Fellow in Global Health with University of California Global Health Institute, and 2013 World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists Research Award.

Isabella is passionate about advancing healthcare standards to save lives and has authored several publications aimed towards improving access to safe anaesthesia in developing countries.
