Career Week 2015 was held from 31st January to 6th February. It was big and successful.Mr. Vimal Shah, MD Bidco Oil Refineries who was the chief guest told his story from a humble background to become the CEO of one of the leading manufacturing company in East Africa.
Ms. Caroline Mutoko challenged students to be their own brand.Mr. Michael Macharia, CEO Seven Seas Technologies, pointed three distinct traits that students need to posses: clarity of thought, persistence and passion.
Mr. George Njoroge, CEO East Africa Data Handlers, talked about how frustrations can motivate one to success.Other guest speakers included; The German Ambassador to Kenya, Mr. Andreas Peschke, Mr. Nicholas Nesbitt, IBM Country Manager and Ms. Ada Eze, MD, Total Kenya.Prof. Ken Walibora, NMG, was the chief guest during the high school career fair. Pastor J. Obwanda also motivated them.
