ESTATES MANAGER

QUALIFICATIONS:

iv.TECHNICIAN – GRADE E/F
QUALIFICATIONS:

Preference will be given to holders of BSc. in Medical Laboratory Science from a recognized university
Registered by Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians & Technologists Board (KMLTTB)
At least two (2) years relevant work experience in a busy Teaching, Research or relevant institution
Computer literate

v.TECHNICIAN – GRADE C/D
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Medical Laboratory Science from a recognized institution
• At least two (2) years relevant work experience in a busy Teaching, Research or Hospital Laboratory
• Registered by Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians & Technologists Board (KMLTTB)Computer literate

8.DEPARTMENT OF PAEDIATRICS AND CHILD HEALTH
i.LECTURER
 QUALIFICATIONS:

• MBChB Degree or its equivalent with a M.Med Degree in the relevant field from a recognized university
• Evidence of work experience in a paediatric facility
• At least two (2) years university teaching or clinical experience in an internship centre
• Registered by the Kenya Medical Practitioners & Dentists Board and have specialist recognition
• Sub-specialty or training in ETAT will be an added advantage

ii.TECHNICIAN – GRADE C/D
 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Clinical Medicine (Paediatrics) or Paediatric Nursing or Theatre Nursing
• At least two (2) years relevant work experience in a busy Paediatric and Child Health Unit Computer literate
• Applicants with an Ordinary Diploma in Clinical Medicine or Nursing with interest in Paediatrics will also be considered on condition that they at least five (5) years relevant work experience.

9.DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY HEALTH
i.LECTURER
 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Masters in Public Health (MPH) Degree or equivalent from a recognized university
• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) Degree or equivalent
• Prepared to pursue a PhD Degree in Public Health

ii.TUTORIAL FELLOW

• Masters of Science in Biostatistics
• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) Degree or equivalent from a     recognized university
• OR Bachelor of Science in Statistics or Biostatistics option or equivalent from a recognized     university
• Registered by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board
• Prepared to pursue a PhD Degree in Public Health

iii.TECHNICIAN- GRADE C/D
QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science Statistics or Biostatistics option or equivalent from a recognized     university
• At least two (2) years relevant work experience in a busy Teaching, Research or relevant     institution
• Knowledge of Statistical Computer Packages

TERMS OF SERVICE:
For teaching positions above Tutorial Fellow employment will be on permanent and pensionable terms.
Tutorial Fellows are employed on one (1) year renewable contract, to the maximum of three (3) years.
The terms for non- teaching positions include a generous medical scheme, house allowance and commuting allowance. Successful candidates will be offered two (2) year renewable performance - based contract and gratuity will be paid at the end of the contract.
