INFORMATION TO THE STUDENTS IN THE SCHOOLS OF MEDICINE, NURSING, ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, PHARMACY, ARCHITECTURE AND BUILT ENVIRONMENT AND LAW
ADJUSTMENT OF REPORTING DATES
In order to ensure adherence to Covid-19 safety and health protocols in terms of maintaining social distance in the lecture halls and hostels as well as taking care of the practical nature of the programmes offered in the above named schools, the University Management has been compelled to make minor adjustments on the reporting dates as follows:
- MONDAY, 12TH OCTOBER, 2020
Finalist students in the Schools of Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy to report to the University for the Second Trimester face-to-face teaching and learning.
- FRIDAY, 16TH OCTOBER, 2020;
Continuing First Year (2019/2020 groups who are in their 2nd semester) and Fourth Year Students in the School of Law to report to the University to complete Semester II 2019/2020 / Examinations.
- SATURDAY 7TH – SUNDAY 8TH NOVEMBER, 2020
- Newly Admitted Students (2020 intake) in the Schools of Medicine, Nursing, Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy, Architecture and Built Environment and students taking Bsc. (Food Nutrition & Dietetics) to report to the University for face-to-face teaching and learning.
- Continuing students in the Schools of Medicine, Nursing, Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy, Architecture and Built Environment and students taking Bsc. (Food Nutrition & Dietetics) to report to the University for face-to-face teaching and learning.
- Second and Third Year Students in the School of Law to report to the University to complete Semester II 2019/2020 / Examinations.
NOTE://ALL THE OTHER GROUPS OF STUDENTS ARE REPORTING AS EARLIER INDICATED:
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
- All Students are advised to strictly adhere to the reporting schedule as specified above.
- Students with examinations that cut across the two phases are advised to make necessary arrangements to sit for the examinations when they are offered in the respective phase.
- Students will be required to report with at least two (2) reusable / washable face masks and ensure wearing of the same at all times.
- Students are advised to strictly adhere to the Health and Safety Regulations and measures as directed by the University and the Ministry of Health.
- Each student will be required to sign to abide by the Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.
- The examinations timetable will be available online two weeks before the official re-opening of the University. All students are advised to keep checking for information and updates on the University website.
