SCHEDULE OF KEY ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES FOR VIRTUAL AND OPEN LEARNING (VOL) SECOND TRIMESTER, 2022/2023 ACADEMIC YEAR

Please find below the schedule of Key Academic Activities for Virtual and Open Learning (VOL) Second Trimester, 2022/2023 Academic Year as per the approved Semester Dates:

9th Jan - 10th Feb 2023             Registration of new and continuing students & physical verification of documents for new students at the Regional Centres            

21st Jan 2023                           1st Virtual Orientation of new students via Google Meet

10th February, 2023                 Deadline for fee payment

10th February, 2023                Deadline for receiving set exams from Departments

11th February, 2023                 2nd Virtual Orientation of new students via Google Meet

17th February, 2023                 Deadline for Units registration/adjustment

18th - 19th Feb 2023                 Undergraduate Tutorials 1 (virtually through Google Meet)

25th - 26th Feb 2023                 Undergraduate Tutorials 2 (virtually through Google Meet)

4th - 5th March, 2023                Post-graduate, Diploma and Certificate Tutorials (virtually via Google Meet)

25th - 26th March, 2023            Sit-in CATs for all year groups at regional centres and embassies abroad

18th - 23rd April, 2023              Examination Period at the regional centres and some embassies abroad

 

Please note that any communication on Semester Dates to members of staff and students can only be made by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) or the Registrar (Academic) after approval by the University Management and/or Senate.
