1. Anthology Student (SIS)
- How to change the password on the student portal account.
- Hold interpretation and registration of units.
- How to view registered units and grades.
- How to access the unofficial transcript and degree audit.
- Interpreting SAP, GPA and student statuses.
- Viewing fee statement and making payments.
2. Corporate Email
- How to reset email password.
- How to set up the 2SV.
- Reset forgotten password.
- Use Google Applications – drive, docs, forms, sheets, meet.
- Google Workspace Quotas.
3. Eduroam Wi-Fi
- How to connect to Eduroam.
- Certificate related issues.
- Connection limits per account.
- Sharing Wi-Fi passwords.
4. ICT Support Helpdesk
- How to raise a support ticket.
- How to review and escalate logged tickets.
- How to review Knowledgebase Articles and rate them.
5. In-house Academic Systems
- Inter School Transfer.
- Student Course Evaluation.
- Hostel Application.
- Application for Semester-Off.
- Student Clearance.
6. Navigating KU’s Social Media Channels and the University Website
- X (formerly Twitter)
- YouTube
- Tiktok
All first year students are hereby informed to avail themselves for the above mandatory training that will be taking place at the Student Computer Centre (SCC) IT Laboratories and the Business and Student Services Centre (BSSC) IT Computer Laboratories.
Additional sensitization will also be done on our Notice Boards and Social Media platforms and the University website.
