At the Microbiology laboratory, core equipment include a modern Binocular Microscope equipped with a tablet for enhanced visualization and documentation when performing microscopic characterization of herbal plants as well as microbial examination of herbal materials; a Bio-Safety Cabinet to create an experimental environment that involves microbiological operation that provides safety for personnel, experimental objects and work; a Laminar Flow Clean Cabinet for maintaining aseptic techniques when handling samples;  a Colony Counter for quantifying microorganisms; an Incubator for allowing the growth of microorganisms at the required temperatures and an Automatic Autoclave for sterilization of microbiological tools and media.
