ABOUT The African Higher Education Leadership in Advancing Inclusive Innovation for Development – AHEAD project co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union sought to enhance the management, governance, teaching, research and evaluation capacities of partner higher education institutions from Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda enabling them to implement the knowledge triangle and better integrate their research, education and innovation functions in support of innovation for sustainable development and inclusive growth. - Training in Inclusive and Grassroots Innovation for both staff and students
- Facilitate stakeholder’s engagement and networking to promote exploration of grassroot and inclusive innovation activities
- Collate stakeholders (Internal and external) input to inform development of the hubs thematic area
- offering brainstorming space to facilitate idea formulation and improvement for incubation admission at the Innovation, incubation centre
- to provide mentorship and consultancy services for innovation ideas
- Networking and building collaborations around inclusive and grassroots innovation
- Promote community engagement forums and support communication links with the aim of nurturing entrepreneurship and sustainable development
- Student start-up competition and pitching
