Entry Requirements

The common regulations for admission into the Master’s degrees in the School of Agriculture shall apply. Holders of Master of Science in Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness Management, Economics from Kenyatta University or any other institutions recognized by the Kenyatta University senate. The master’s degree must have been based on coursework, examination and thesis. Students that the department deems to be weak in Econometrics and policy issues will be required to undertake remedial courses prescribed by the department.

Programme Structure and Duration
iv) The Doctoral programme shall be completed through research, thesis and successful oral examination.
v) Candidates will be required to register for full time programme which shall run for a minimum of three years.
