Entry Requirements

i. The common regulations for admission into the Masters Degrees in Kenyatta University shall apply.
ii. The general regulations for all Masters Degrees in the School of Agriculture and Enterprise Development shall apply.
iii. Holders of a Bachelor’s degree with at least a First Class or Upper Second class Honours in Agriculture or any other related areas from all institutions recognized by Kenyatta University Senate.
iv. Holders of Bachelor’s degree with Lower Second Class Division in Agriculture or any other related areas with at least two years relevant research experience or a post-graduate diploma.

Examination regulations

i. The general Kenyatta University Post graduate examination regulations shall apply.
ii. Students enrolled for the Master of Science in Agronomy program will take written examinations on all taught units. Written examination will constitute 60% of the total marks while CATs will be 40%. The pass mark for each unit shall be 50%
iii. The thesis will be examined according to Kenyatta university regulations.


Certification
The degree to be awarded is designated as M.Sc. Crop Protection (Pathology Option).
