Entry Requirements
i. In addition to meeting the University entrance requirements of overall C+ at KCSE or equivalent, candidates for admission to the B.Sc. (Agriculture Resource Management) programme are required to have obtained a minimum of C+ in any three of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Agriculture or Geography, Mathematics or Physics or Physical Sciences as specified by Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Services (KUCCPS).
ii. Candidates with ‘A’ level certificate with at least one principal in requisite subjects in criteria number (i) above or candidates with International Baccalaureate certification.
iii. Grade C in KCSE or its equivalent and a Diploma with a minimum of credit in a subject related to Agriculture, Environmental Studies, Applied Biology, Agribusiness or any other related discipline from a recognized Institution.
iv. Mean grade of C- at KCSE and progressed from certificate to Diploma at Kenyatta University or any other recognized/accredited Institutions.
Examinations
University examination regulations will apply. Students enrolled for the Bachelor of Science (Agriculture Resource Management) degree program will be expected to take written examinations on all taught units. The final written examinations will constitute 70% of the total marks while the continuous assessment tests (CATS), practicals and assignments will constitute 30%. Pass mark for all units shall be 40%. Research projects, and field attachments / practicum shall be assessed by continuous assessment and/or practical exam in accordance with university examination regulations. Field trips shall be assessed by field reports and assignments given during the field trip.

The degree to be awarded is designated: Bachelor of Science (Agriculture Resource Management).
