Masters Degrees
The following shall be eligible for admission into the Masters programmes in the School of Economics:
- A holder of at least an Upper Second Class Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Economics and Statistics or Economics and Finance from Kenyatta University or any other recognized Institution of comparable status.
A holder of a Lower Second Class degree in the stated disciplines from Kenyatta University or any other recognized university with 2 years relevant experience.
Ph.D in Economics (Coursework,Examination and Thesis)
The following shall be eligible for admission into the Ph.D programmes in the School of Economics. A holder of at least a Masters Degree in any one of the following:

Course Duration
The course duration is given as follows:
- Bachelors degree take a minimum of eight (8) semesters.
- Masters degree take a minimum of four (4) semesters.
- Ph.D degree take a minimum of six (6) semesters.
