Teddy Miller Samo is a Tutorial Fellow in the Department of Energy Technology at Kenyatta University. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomechanical and Processing Engineering and Agricultural Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and a Master of Science degree in Energy Engineering from Pan African University Institute of Water and Energy Sciences Tlemcen, Algeria. He is currently pursuing a PhD degree in Geothermal at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and researching on the Contribution of Geothermal Power Production to Climate Change: Modelling the Dispersion and Concentration of Green House Gas (GHG) emissions through the Soil and Fumaroles as a result of Geothermal Energy Production in Olkaria Naivasha. Research interest: Geothermal gas emissions, Solar Energy Ongoing research projects: Writing a concept paper PUBLICATIONS: • Geothermal electricity compared to other electricity sources in Kenya, LCOE and Resource Analysis (Germany, Published in March 2017)
