Lead Expert, Environmental & Social Impact Assessment for the proposed micro hydro-power plant in Mwea West Sub-County, Kirinyaga County. Project is under global program on “Low Carbon Emission Clean Energy Technology Transfer Program” jointly with the Government of Japan.

- Kirinyaga District. Involved as the Lead expert/Coordinating expert. Involved in development of ESMP (Environmental and Social Management Plan) and monitoring framework.
- 2007/8: TTF/TARDA: Involved as a Lead expert/NRM specialist on Environmental Impact Assessment for construction of Masinga Dam Africa Kayak-Canoe Camp. He contributed towards development of Environmental and Social Management Plan and strategies for monitoring.
- October-September 2007: Kyaume Self-Help Welfare Group: Environmental Impact Assessment for of the proposed Ithanga Mortuary, Kakuku village, Kakuku sub-location, Ithanga Location, Kakuzi division, Gatanga Constituency in Thika district. Involved as the Lead expert/Team leader and analysis of potential impacts of the project on social and natural environment. He was also involved in development of ESMP (Environmental and Social Management Plan) and monitoring framework.
- 2005: GoK/World Bank, Annual Environmental Audit Arid Lands Resource Management Project Phase (ALRMP) I & II, covering 12 arid & semi-arid districts as follows: Kajiado, Makueni, Kitui, Mbeere, Garissa, Tana River, Wajir, Mandera, Narok, Laikipia, Samburu and Baringo districts. Involved as an Environmental specialist (Natural Resources Management and Conservation). Reviewing the paper trail of screening checklists and EIA reports, and review of reports on wider issues of natural resources and environmental management; Select a number of community micro-projects and sub-projects for field visits to investigate compliance with proposed mitigation measures and identification of potential impacts that are not being adequately identified or dealt with by community micro-project. The study covered all the projects carried out such as water dams, water pans, shallow wells, boreholes, streams, restocking project and educational facilities projects.
- 2005: World Vision ADP Soweto: Environmental Specialist, Environmental Impact Assessment for Ngundu Primary School and neighbouring community Borehole.
- 2002 to 2004: Involved in preparation of teaching modules for various degree programmes, invigilating examinations and organizing continuous assessment tests (CATS) at Kenyatta University, Institute of Open Learning. Also actively involved in presentation of research findings of various environmental assignments.
- 2003/04: Involved in Environmental Audits of 23 Tourist Lodges and hotels within the following tourist circuits and National Parks: Amboseli, Tsavo East and Tsavo West, Masai Mara, Laikipia and Samburu, greater Meru Conservational areas, Mt. Kenya Forest areas and Coastal ecosystems.
- September 2008: WWF MFS Naivasha: Mid-term Review of Livelihood Improvement, Economic Growth and Environmental Sustainability Project. Involved as an Environmental Expert.
- 2007: GoK/World Bank Project: Involved as an environmental/micro-project impact analysis specialist in evaluation of Arid Lands Resource Management Project (ALRMP) Phase I & II projects consultancy covering the following districts: Narok, Baringo, West Pokot, Mbeere, Kitui, Tana River, Mandera and Marsabit. The evaluation is covering all the projects carried out mainly water dams, water pans, shallow wells, boreholes, streams, restocking project, irrigation, health and educational projects. - 2007: GoK/UNDP Project: Consultancy on External Evaluation of Poverty Eradication Commission covering the following 28 sample districts: Nairobi, Kiambu, Murang’a, Nyeri, Meru Central, Embu, Marsabit, Tana River, Garissa, Mandera, Wajir, Taita Taveta, Kilifi, Kwale, Mombasa, Baringo, West Pokot, Koibatek, Kajiado, Nakuru, Kisumu, Bondo, Migori, Nyamira, Kakamega and Vihiga. The objective of this consultancy is to evaluate impact of projects funded by the commission to the following: Revolving loan fund, Social projects such as education facilities, water, health and sanitation projects.
- 2006/7: TARDA: Involved as NRM Consultant in Design and Development of the Tourism Master Plan for the Tana Basin Ecosystem for the New Tourist Circuit stretching from Mt. Kenya Forest to the Coast Region.
- 2005: Lake Basin Development Authority (LBDA): Involved in designing and development of a five year Strategic Plan.
- 2003: USA Embassy (Nairobi) Small Enterprises Funding through Thuiya Enterprises Limited: Consultancy for the establishment of sustainable community commercial tree nurseries for the Rachar and Nyabera Youth group (Rarieda Constituency) and Kamelili Community Development Organization in Tinderet, Nandi district.
- 1999: Catholic Diocese of Meru, Tigania Integrated Development Projects (TIDP): Involved as a project manager in establishment of sustainable community commercial nurseries for Women groups in Nyambene district in Kenya. The seedlings raised includes: Cash crop such as: Macadamia, tea, coffee, pawpaw (Carica papaya), citrus fruits, Orange (Citrus sinensis) Mango (Mangifera indica), Guava (Psidium guava) among others. Indigenous tree seedlings to be raised include the following species: Cordia africana, Croton megalorcapus, Croton macrostachyus, Prunus africana and Vitex keniensis. Incomes of the community members was improved through the sale of seedlings.
- 1999: United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and ANPPCAN. Involved in Community Based Organized Groups Mobilization within Korogocho and Kibera slums.
