ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Admission Requirements Units for BEd. Physical Education & Sports

In addition to attaining the basic university admission requirements (mean grade C+ in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent), a candidate must have a minimum grade of C (in KCSE or its equivalent) in at least one science subject at the level of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent from a recognized institution.

OR

A mean grade of C (plain) in KCSE or its equivalent with a diploma in Physical Education, Diploma in Education or any other related field from a recognized institution.           

Graduation Requirements for the Award of the Degree

A student shall have successfully completed a minimum of 63 and teaching practice in order to qualify for the award of the degree. The units include all departmental core units, units from the second teaching subject, school and university common units, and the electives required during the four years of study.
