Requirements

  • The Common regulations for all Masters Degrees in the University shall apply. The general re-quirements for all Masters Degrees in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) shall apply. The following shall be eligible for registration for the Master of Arts of in the Depart- ment:
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Education (Arts) Degree of at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) or its equivalent (with an average mean score of 60% in the area applied for) from a recognized university.
  • Those with Second Class (Lower Division) may be considered on condition that theyhave Grade “C” and above in units relevant to their areas of specialization.
