Dr. King'ang'a is a lecturer in the department of medical physiology, School of Medicine, Kenyatta university. He attended Tenwek and Mangu High School. He graduated with an M. B. Ch. B in 1993 and MMed in Anaesthesiology in 2001 from the University of Nairobi. He has a post graduate certicate in Neuro-anaesthesiology from All India Institute of medical sciences(AIIMS), New Delhi, India. Prior to joining Kenyatta University, Dr. King'ang'a was a consultant inprivate practice in Nairobi. He worked with the Ministry of Health in various capacities in Mombasa, Machakos, Prison Health Services, Kenyatta National Hospital, Thika, Embu and Kakame a as an assistant Senior Deputy Director of Medical Services. He is a member of Kenya Medical Association(nairobi), Kenya Society of Anaesthesiologists, Operation Smile Mission International and registered and licensed to practice by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board. His areas of interests are in resuscitation and emergency care, neuro-physiology and anaesthesia in the different population. He has attended and presented various conferernces and workshops within and out of the country.
