DIPLOMA IN HEARING HEALTH (HEARING HEALTH TECHNICIAN)

The admission requirements for admission to the diploma in hearing health (hearing health technician) are specified below:

Entry Requirement

Candidates wishing to study for the Diploma in Hearing Health (Hearing Health Technician) shall have obtained a mean grade of at least C (Plain) at KCSE and passed subject clusters as indicated or their equivalents;

English or Kiswahili/Kenyan sign language C+ (Plus)

Biology C+ (Plus)

Mathematics or Physics C (Plain)

Candidates with disabilities shall have obtained a mean grade of at least C (Plain) at KCSE and passed subject clusters as indicated or their equivalents

English or Kiswahili/Kenyan sign languageC (Plain)

Biology C (Plain)

Mathematics or Physics C- (Minus)

(b) Alternative Entry Requirement

Applicants with a minimum of C- (minus) with a certificate passed in fields of study related to hearing health from a recognized institution.
