A Kenyatta University delegation, representing the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Paul K. Wainaina, paid a courtesy call to the office of Ms. Vicky Pantazopoulou, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kenya in the Hellenic Republic, during a visit to Athens, Greece, on 25 November 2025. The delegation was led by Prof. Paul Okemo, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration and Finance), who represented the Vice-Chancellor.
During the visit, Prof. Okemo presented a gift to Ms. Pantazopoulou on behalf of the University, symbolizing Kenyatta University’s appreciation and continued commitment to strengthening Kenya–Greece relations. The gesture also underscored the University’s strategic efforts to advance global partnerships, enhance international visibility, and foster collaborative opportunities in education, research, and cultural exchange.
The meeting provided a platform for dialogue on potential areas of cooperation between Kenyatta University and Kenyan representation in Greece, particularly in supporting internationalization efforts and promoting academic mobility.
