In a productive move toward regional collaboration, Hon. Evans Muhanga, Permanent Secretary of Zambia’s Ministry of Tourism, visited the Global Tourism Resilience and Crisis Management Centre (GTRCMC) at Kenyatta University for a benchmarking mission. On behalf of the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Paul Okemo, DVC Administration and Finance, hosted the courtesy call, providing a platform to showcase the center’s pioneering research and strategic initiatives in tourism sustainability. The visit highlighted the importance of cross-border knowledge exchange, as the Zambian delegation gained firsthand insight into the innovative frameworks Kenyatta University has developed to manage and mitigate global tourism crises.
