Admission Requirements for the Proposed Programme
The admission requirement are as follows:
A holder of a first degree in the following fields: Medicine (MBCHB), Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy (B. Pharm) and Dentistry (BDS).
OR
A holder of a first-degree, First-Class Honours or Second-Class Honours (Upper Division) in the
following health related fields: Community Health, Environmental Health, Nutrition, Health Management, Public Health, Population Health, and Health Informatics.
OR
A holder of a Second Class (Lower Division) in the above disciplines with a post qualification
experience in a health-related field subject
PROGRAMME DURATION AND STRUCTURE
The Master of Hospital Epidemiology and Infection Control Programme shall normally extend over a period of not less than two years. The course is organized in trimester mode, with a clinical attachment unit in each trimester.
MODE OF APPLICATION
(i). Application forms can be obtained from Kenyatta University, Admissions Block. Office No. 12 or downloaded from our website. Applicants shall pay non-refundable processing fee of Kshs. 2000/- for East Africans and Kshs. 4,000/= for non-East Africans through Bank deposit into any of the following bank accounts.
