A Kenyatta University delegation led by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration and Finance), Prof. Paul Okemo, representing the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Paul K. Wainaina, paid a courtesy visit to the University of West Attica in Athens, Greece, on Thursday, 26 November 2025.
The meeting brought together key officials from the host university, including:

The discussions centered on strengthening collaboration between the two institutions and identifying new opportunities for partnership in academic mobility, research exchange, and capacity-building initiatives. A major focus of the meeting was the advancement and expansion of Erasmus+ programs at Kenyatta University, with both institutions expressing strong interest in deepening their engagement within the framework of internationalization.
Prof. Okemo reaffirmed Kenyatta University’s commitment to building global networks that enhance student and staff mobility, enrich learning experiences, and broaden collaborative prospects in line with the University’s international strategy.
