The Directorate of Catering Services is mandated with the provision of quality catering services to the Kenyatta University community and external clientele. Operating under the motto "Delicious meals — unimaginable prices", the directorate ensures students, staff and visitors have access to nutritious, affordable meals across all campuses.
The directorate is headed by Dr. Judy Wairimu Mugo, Director of Catering Services, and operates catering units across five KU campuses: Main Campus, Ruiru, Parklands, Kitui, and Kericho. It also manages catering for university events, conferences, and special functions.
Spacious, well-equipped dining halls on campus serving balanced breakfast, lunch and dinner to thousands of students daily at subsidised rates.
Campus restaurants offering a wider menu selection including local and continental dishes for students, staff and guests.
Self-catering kitchen facilities available for students who prefer to prepare their own meals, equipped with the necessary appliances and utensils.
A dedicated coffee house and bakery serving premium teas, coffees, freshly baked bread, pastries and snacks throughout the day.
Clean, treated drinking water stations are available free of charge across all catering facilities on campus.
Professional catering for conferences, graduation ceremonies, departmental meetings, workshops and special university functions.
