A UNESCO & UNICEF regional programme transforming teacher education for sustainability across Eastern Africa (2025–2027)
The Leadership for Education for Sustainable Development (LEAD-ESD) programme is a regional capacity-building initiative coordinated by UNESCO and UNICEF and implemented by Kenyatta University. It is delivered through an Implementation Partnership Agreement between KU and the UNESCO Regional Office for Eastern Africa, with technical and financial support from UNESCO ROEA and the UNICEF Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Office.
