About the Department

The Community Outreach Office coordinates community service, social impact programmes and university-community partnerships at Kenyatta University. Community service is a core pillar of KU's mission, and the office channels the university's expertise and student energy into initiatives that uplift surrounding communities and the nation.

Programmes include health camps, legal aid outreach, environmental conservation drives, school mentorship, adult literacy support and agricultural extension. The office partners with county governments, NGOs, faith-based organisations and community groups to deliver sustainable impact.
