Advancing justice, governance and human rights through research
The Centre for Human Rights & Policy Research undertakes scholarship in constitutional law, governance, gender justice, refugee law and community human rights education. The centre provides policy analysis to state and non-state actors, runs legal-aid outreach clinics and convenes public dialogues on rights and governance in Kenya and the region.
We welcome collaboration with researchers, industry, government and development partners, and host postgraduate students across our focus areas.
